Teacher professional development programs will be offered in all regions of the United States. 

These programs are designed for K-12 teachers educating students in formal classroom settings and will be completely free to attend.  

Programs will be announced throughout 2025 and 2026.

Are you coming to my state?

Specific program locations will be announced closer to the date. In the meantime, sign up for email notifications to learn which states we're visiting!

Why should I attend?

To explore the biography of George Washington, life at Mount Vernon, and the 18th-century world through the use of primary source material, classroom resources, and current best practices in Social Studies education. Each program will be planned based on teacher needs within your states and/or regions.

How much do the programs cost?

The programs are completely free to educators teaching grades K-12 in the United States.

How long are the workshops?

Each workshop will range between a half and a full day, depending on the location and facilitator.
