Message from the Regent
It is my honor to serve as the 24th Regent of the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association, our nation’s first historic preservation organization. For more than 165 years, the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association has been responsible for preserving and protecting the estate of George Washington and for educating the world about the leadership and character of our first president.
Mount Vernon does not accept government support. Instead, we rely on the generosity of patriotic donors like you for every dollar needed to maintain George Washington’s historic estate. Our work would not be possible without your unwavering support and partnership.
