Include a cruise down the Potomac River in your visit to Mount Vernon! Spirit Cruises offers seasonal boat transportation from Washington, D.C., and the Potomac Riverboat Company cruises to Mount Vernon from Old Town Alexandria and National Harbor.
Enjoy a 40-minute sightseeing excursion and waterside view of Mount Vernon. Several excursions offered daily (excluding Monday). Mount Vernon Admission tickets are required to access the Wharf and board the boat for the sightseeing cruises

Spirit Cruises Aboard The Spirit of Mount Vernon
Take a 6 1/2 hour roundtrip cruise aboard the
Spirit of Mount Vernon from Washington, D.C., or choose a one-way trip either arriving at or departing from Mount Vernon. All cruises include admission to Mount Vernon with the exception of the one-way cruise that departs from the Estate.
The Potomac Spirit docks at Pier 4 at 6th and Water Streets, SW in Washington, D.C. The departure time is 8:30 a.m. with arrival at Mount Vernon scheduled for 10:00 a.m. The Spirit departs Mount Vernon at 1:30 p.m. and returns to Pier 4 in Washington at 3:00 p.m.
Roundtrip fare includes admission to Mount Vernon.

Potomac Riverboat Company Aboard The Miss Christin
The Potomac Riverboat Company offers roundtrip
boat transportation to Mount Vernon from the Old Town Alexandria waterfront and the Gaylord Hotel at the new National Harbor. These narrated cruises include admission to Mount Vernon.
The Miss Christin departs the Alexandria City Marina at King and Union Streets at 10:30 a.m. and the Gaylord Hotel at 11:05 a.m. She departs Mount Vernon at 4:00 p.m. and returns to Gaylord hotel at 5:00 p.m. and Alexandria at 5:30 p.m.
Roundtrip fare Includes admission to Mount Vernon.
